I am still floating on cloud nine after last Sunday’s services. What an incredible day. Seeing so many people show up for both services and for everything to go off without a hitch was so cool. I am so thankful to everyone who came to the work day to clean the property. The place looked fantastic for our first service. Sunday was a great day of celebration for all that God has done over a short period of time. It’s only the beginning, and it gets me excited for what is to come. (For pictures, visit our Facebook)
We still have a few lingering projects. The roof is being repaired and replaced this week, new windows for the CE building will be here soon, and work is continuing on the downstairs Kitchen to ready it for Luz en Christo to hold their services there. Pastor Felipe would appreciate it if you could help with the Kitchen in the evenings or on Saturdays. He has to put up two larger headers and some other work. If you can help, let me know.
Our volunteer shirts have come in. If you serve on Sundays and haven’t got your “Hope is Here” shirt, please see me on Sunday. We are asking our volunteers to wear these on Sundays for the first few months. This will help visitors identify people if they have a question. Sorry, we don’t have extra shirts.
I hope to see you this Sunday. We will be looking at one of the most controversial passages in the Bible. The message’s title is “The Danger of Falling Away.” Make sure to invite a friend or two.
