“Let us consider how to stir one another to love and good works” Hebrews 10:24
Core Values
Live the Word
Our goal is to learn to live according to God’s Word and grow in the Lord as individuals and as a church body. In addition to the study of God’s Word, we seek to grow by practicing these four Core Values.
Worship
We seek to worship God, both in our corporate times of worship, as well as by living lives submitted to Him.
Outreach
We desire to reach the lost and hurting of Lompoc Valley with the Gospel of Jesus Christ
Relationships
We encourage our people to “do life together” by being a part of a small group.
Discipleship
We strive to “equip the saint for the work of the ministry” (Eph. 4:12). Our goal is to raise up saints who will serve the Lord both in their church, and in their community.
Our Mission
OUR MISSION IS TO REACH THE LOST, RAISE UP DISCIPLES, AND RELEASE PEOPLE TO SERVE.
At Hope Chapel, we place a priority on gathering together in order to seek God together during our weekly services. Each Sunday, we come together and worship God through singing, prayer, and the study of His Word.
You are invited to join us. Our Sunday services are casual, and we always have time before and after the service to fellowship over coffee. So, come as you are and join us as we seek to know God and His people.
Hope Chapel is part of the Calvary Chapel movement where the Word of God is taught verse by verse, chapter by chapter. We base everything we do on God’s infallible Word. Our vision is to see our people take the Word of God and live it out on a daily basis.
Baptism
Baptism is the next step in the process of growing in your faith. The act of baptism symbolizes you dying to your old life and being resurrected into your new one with Jesus (1 Cor 5:7). It is also a testimony to the world of your new faith, so it should be done in front of witnesses.
Discipleship
A disciple is one who follows in the footsteps of a master. As a disciple of Jesus Christ, it is essential to know what He taught and how He expects you to live. At the Village Chapel, we have D-groups that are small groups that meet weekly to grasp the Bible better.
Serve
The final step in the discipleship process is to use your gifts by serving in the church. Service is an outflow of gratitude for what Jesus has done in your life. Our service is an act of worship to the Lord. Please fill out our volunteer form to find your place.
