Jesus says in John 10:10, “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. Part of that is being set free from the chains of sin and death, but the other part is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit to empower and guide us. When you are filling yourselves with the Word of God, living obediently, and pouring out by serving Him, you discover the abundant life promised. One day you will be in the presence of Jesus Christ, and it will be like a wedding feast. Until then, you find the abundant life by consistently following Him. This summer, the church is doing a missions trip to the Boston area. We will partner with Plesant Street Baptist church to reach the multitude of immigrants that have taken up residence in that city since coming to America. We will participate in community outreach, sports programs, skateboarding outreach, and repairs to the church. We have room for twenty people to go. I have been reading it, and it is very informative and helpful for those who struggle with laziness and feelings of malaise. The author gives insight into scripture and informative tips on overcoming the apathy you feel. Purchase here on Amazon. Podcast: Unshaken Faith with Alisha Childres and Natasha Crain. This is a great 15-minute podcast that comes out once a week and deals with current issues that are attacking the family. They deal Biblically with understanding the challenges and how to address them in the home. Youtube Channel: Into His Image. Pastor Lance Ralston has a great series on church history on this channel but just recently started a deeper dive through the book of Genesis. This guy is wicked smart, and you will learn a bunch. Highly recommend.
