To bring hope, comfort, and connection to the foster care/adoption community of Santa Barbara County through the love of Jesus Christ. Our primary goal is to bring that connection to those most vulnerable and in need, the children and resource families in the foster care system in our county. These kids need to know that they are loved, they have purpose, and they are safe. Building, maintaining, and restoring relationships and connection with foster children and their families is hard work and takes a network of care and support. As followers of Christ, we believe God has created us to be connected. Connected to Him, connected to family, and connected to each other. The love of God for us compels us to action, to bring that love and connection to those around us.

Our hope is to connect the body of Christ to the needs of the foster care community and give them opportunities to meet those needs. So many in the church want to be involved in foster care, but are overwhelmed by the complexity of the system and the stereotypes associated with foster care. Our  ministry seeks to make avenues for the body of Christ to step up and make a difference one child and family at a time. We want to meaningfully support the families that are working to bring healing and security to the kids placed in their care. Most importantly, we want to connect these families and kids to the hope that is found in Christ.

Hope Connection

JASON AND SANDRA

We are a ministry of Hope Chapel in Mission Hills, CA. Our ministry leaders, Jason and Sandra, began their foster care journey in 2015. They brought their first son home in 2017 and are currently the prospective adoptive parents for a beautiful set of twins. Through their experiences, their hearts were moved to help connect the body of Christ to the needs of the kids and families in foster care. Hope Connection was formed to help make that happen! We are excited to see how the Lord continues to open doors and use us in Santa Barbara County!

FOSTERING HOPE: STOCKING PROJECT:

We are excited to announce our first major project for 2023:

Providing a stocking for the kids and families in the foster care system! Christmas is a season filled with the Hope that comes from the lowly manger in Bethlehem and fills the hearts of believers the world over. We are seeking to bring that hope, and a bit of fun, to the kids in foster care.

You can help us by sponsoring a stocking! For $25, you can help fill a stocking that will go to a child in the foster care system.
