Hello Everyone,
I hope you are making it through this latest COVID surge and haven’t been hit too hard by the symptoms. It is making its way through every circle we are a part of. Stay safe, and please let us know if you would like us to pray for you. Services will be online this Sunday and next Wednesday, and we will resume in person on the 16th. I’m not confident about holding the Men’s breakfast on January 15th, so we will hold off until February. Sorry for the inconvenience, but we don’t want to spread this virus further.
We had a great response to the prophecy update last Wednesday. If you didn’t watch it, you can watch it here. This Sunday, we will be starting our series on the Sermon on the Mount. I am excited to go through Jesus’ greatest sermon over the next couple of months. There is so much in there for all of us. Only 10:30 AM service will be streamed this Sunday. If you were a worker who had committed to work this Sunday, you don’t need to come in unless you are part of the Worship or Tech teams. I know that seems obvious, but I wanted to communicate it nonetheless.
Our theme for 2022 is “Equipped to Endure.” The church wants to equip you with the spiritual tools necessary to navigate the new terrain of our culture. Many belief systems, like progressivism, are attacking the church, and Christians are ill-prepared to address it. We want to explain these systems and equip you to answer them. On the last Wednesday of every month, we will hold an Equip Dinner & Discussion. We will meet at the church at 6:30 for Dinner (If possible), and then I will address an area like Critical Race Theory and then answer any questions you might have. More details to come, but I wanted to make you aware in advance.
That’s all I have for this week. I’m praying for you and look forward to seeing you online this Sunday.
Pastor Chuck
