Our heritage is from the Calvary Chapel movement of churches. We hold dear to that way of ministry and its beliefs on certain doctrines. That said, what defines a Calvary Chapel is four things: teaching the Word of God, a casual atmosphere, being Spirit-led, and a heart for the lost. We will not change that as we change our address or name. People need to see the hope of Jesus Christ. God is going to use this new facility to reach lost and hurting people with the Gospel. It will also be a place where ministers are trained and sent out to needy congregations. Exciting days are ahead. Progress on the construction is moving along at a quick pace. The stage is almost complete, and the popcorn is off the ceilings in the Education building. The offices are almost complete, with the carpet going in next week. Soon drywall will be patched, and painting will start. If you don’t have time to stop by, follow along with the renovation on our YouTube channel or Instagram account. Everyone is asking when the first Sunday will be, and we are tentatively thinking one of the first two Sundays of August. Stay tuned for more details. Please be in prayer for our youth as they head off to camp Monday. Ask the Lord to work in their hearts while there, and that lasting change will happen. Pray for Peter and Cindy Eisen, the adult leaders, that they will have the stamina to make it through the week. That’s it for now. See you Sunday as we continue our study in the book of Hebrews.
